Welcome to CCPC!

The people of Cape Carteret Presbyterian Church have been coming together for over 50 years to CONNECT with God in worship, GROW through study and prayer, and SERVE others in our community and the world. Many different people have found a home in our church, and we’d love for you to visit us so you too can experience the love and joy that God has blessed us with.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Worship Style

Our service would be described by many as a traditional service blended with a splash of modern day elements. It is very family friendly!

Come As You Are

No matter what your personal style is, we want you to feel comfortable at CCPC. Members and visitors alike wear everything from shorts and flip-flops to suits and dresses!

Music

You will hear everything from classical to spiritual to contemporary, typically accompanied by organ or piano. We are blessed to have a talented Chancel Choir lead us in song each week.

The Message

Each week Pastor Ben offers a message that is rooted in the Bible as well as applicable to everyday life. His style is very conversational in nature. He is not afraid to ask us to take our faith seriously. He reminds us each week that we worship a God of love and grace.

Time with Children

Each week Pastor Ben invites the children to join him up front for a short story or lesson — the children are always encouraged to share their own thoughts!

FAMILIES AND CHILDREN

We believe it is important for parents to be able to attend Faith Formation classes and to be able to focus on worship. To help parents, we offer:

Nursery (Birth – 3 years)

Available during both Sunday School (9:45 AM) and Worship Service (11:00 AM)

Children’s Church (Pre-K – 5th Grade)

Age-specific programming each week during the worship service

Youth Group (Middle & High School)

Wednesday evenings 6:00–7:00 PM (September through May)
