PRAYER GROUP
Currently, we have one primary intercessory prayer team who prays for our church, our community, our country, and for all those who have individually requested prayers. Enrich your life and be a part of experiencing the results of prayer.
If you have loved ones in the military, please let us know so we can assign them a prayer intercessor.
KNITTING MINISTRY
Twice a month a group of people meet in the church to knit, pray, and connect. The fruit of their labors are small pocket prayer cloth and prayer shawls. These beautiful knitted items are blessed by the pastor and then shared with those in need. Recently a number of prayer shawls were delivered to the local Hospice Center as gifts to those in their sacred last days. If you have a heart for others and a desire to put your knitting skills to use then this ministry is for you. Please contact the church office at (252) 393-8462 for any questions. Meeting dates are the second Monday of the month at 1 pm and the 4th Wednesday at 10 am.
CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Going into the hospital, sick at home, or just need someone to visit? The Congregational Care Team takes Christ’s love into homes, hospitals, retirement centers, or wherever needed. Upon request, members from Congregational Care will be more than happy to spend time with you to offer words of encouragement and prayer.
Desire the Sacrament of Holy Communion? Home Communion is offered to those who are unable to attend worship for health, as well as other reasons. Please call the church office at (252) 393-8462 and we will be more than happy to arrange a time for either an elder or Pastor Ben to serve Communion at your home.
SUPPORT GROUPS
AA – currently meets in the Educational Building on Sunday evenings at 7:00pm.
