In light of the recent CDC guideline changes regarding masks and Gov. Cooper’s lifting of the mask mandate for vaccinated people the session has removed the mask requirement for those who are vaccinated during worship and elsewhere throughout the church effective Sunday, May 23.
The session requests all non-vaccinated people (including children) to continue wearing masks for their own health and safety until they have had the opportunity to get fully vaccinated.
If you have been vaccinated and wish to continue wearing your mask during worship, please feel free to do so.
The session will meet at its normal time on June 16th to continue to discuss the best way to lead our congregation in the worship and service of God as we make our way out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
